JUDGMENT
Petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers :- i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, to set aside or reduce the quantum of the mandatory imposition of Rs.30,000/- as the Counselling Registration Fee.
ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction to set aside the requirement of Rs.20,000 Confirmation Fee.
Iii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, to set aside the refund policy of 2nd respondent as provided under the Clause 4 of Exhibit P3.
2. Petitioner had appeared for CLAT PG 2026 and received an invitation to participate in the Admission Counselling Process conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities for LLM. According to the petitioner, the Conselling Registration Fee and Confirmation Fee required to be paid by a candidate is exorbitant and hence, he has challenged the mandatory imposition of the said fee.
