JUDGMENT
Dated this the 30th day of January, 2026 The petitioner states that he is an electrician retired from Ponkunnam Depot of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation. The petitioner retired from service on 31.05.2025. Inspite of repeated requests, the petitioner has not been paid his terminal benefits. The petitioner is therefore before this Court seeking to direct the respondents to disburse the terminal benefits with interest immediately.
2. Standing Counsel entered appearance and resisted the writ petition. Standing Counsel denied all the allegations made by the petitioner. On behalf of the respondents, it is submitted that the petitioner is being paid monthly pension. Due to certain financial difficulties, terminal benefits of the petitioner are delayed. The respondents are taking all steps to clear the dues.
3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel representing the respondents.
4. The fact that the petitioner has served the KSRTC and retired from service on 31.05.2025 is not disputed. The petitioner has rendered more than 20 years of service in the KSRTC. The petitioner has not been paid DCRG, Commuted value of pension, leav
