This application is filed underSection 482of theBharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking pre- arrest bail.

2. The applicant is the sole accused in Crime No1729/2025 of Ollur Police Station, Thrissur District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 75 (2) and 75(1)(ii) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita ( BNS ), 2023 and Section 11 r/w Section

12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act , 2012.

3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on 16.12.2025, at 8:30 p.m., the applicant, who is the neighbour of the survivor girl aged 17 years, with sexual intent, on the road by the side of Ponnookkara Nanma bakery, uttered sexually coloured words, and the applicant had, with sexual intent, caught hold of the survivor’s hand on earlier occasions, in such a way so as to outrage her modesty and thereby committed the offences.
