ORDER

Dated this the 5th day of February, 2026 The petitioner who is the sole accused in S.C.No.2740/2023 on the file of the Additional Sessions Court (Atrocities & Sexual Violence Against Women and Children), Thiruvananthapuram, arising out of Crime No.1956/2023 of Nedumangad police station, filed this Crl.M.C. under Section 482 Cr.P.C., praying for quashing all further proceedings against him. The offence alleged against the petitioner are under Section 354 D of IPC and Section 12 , 11(i), 11(iv), 11(vi) of the PoCSO Act.

2. The prosecution case is that on 22.09.2023 when the defacto complainant who was a minor girl walking along the side of the Nedumangad – Mukkolikal road, the accused who came in a car followed her and invited her to enter in his car with sexual intent and thereby he is alleged to have committed the aforesaid offences.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, now the entire dispute between the petitioner and the defacto complainant were settled and therefore, he prayed for quashing all further proceedings against the petitioner.

4. The parent of the victim filed an affidavit stating that the entire dispute between them and the petitioner is settle
