O R D E R

This application is filed underSection 482of theBharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023(for short, BNSS ), seeking pre- arrest bail.

2. The applicant is the accused No.6 in Crime No.1487/2025 of Vadakkancherry Police Station, Palakkad District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 189 (2), 191(2), 191(3), 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 110 and 249 read with Section 190 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on 29.12.2025, due to prior animosity towards the defacto complainant, connected with an altercation during the Karumanassery temple festival, the applicant, along with the remaining accused, formed an unlawful assembly and called the defacto complainant to Kundukadu in Kizhakkanchery to resolve the issues, and on his arrival, the accused wrongfully restrained and assaulted him with a weapon and thereby committed the aforesaid offences.
