ORDER
This application is filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking pre-
arrest bail.
2. The applicant is the accused No.1 in Crime No.1544/2025 of Ambalappuzha Police Station, Alappuzha District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 118(1), 126(2) and 296(b) read with Section 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 .
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on 04.05.2025 at around 9:00 p.m., near to the Railway gate at Thakazhi, the accused persons wrongfully restrained the defacto complainant, stabbed him with a knife, when his friends-Nandu Vijay and Pranav Pramod intervened, they attacked them also with the same knife and sustained injuries and thereby committed the offences.
4. I have heard Sri.Sudheer K.C., the learned counsel for the applicant and Smt.Sreeja V., the learned Senior Public Prosecutor. Perused the case diary.
