This application is filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking pre-
arrest bail.
2. The applicant is the sole accused in Crime No.1304/2025 of Tirur Police Station, Malappuram District. The offence alleged is punishable under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on 01.08.2025 at 2:45 p.m. at PSM lodge, Tirur, the applicant subjected the defacto complainant to sexual intercourse after giving a false promise of marriage and thereby committed the aforementioned offence. 4. I have heard Sri.K.M.Firoz, the learned counsel for the applicant, Smt.Sreeja V., the learned Senior Public Prosecutor and Sri.M.Devesh, the learned counsel for the defacto complainant.

5. The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the applicant is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the present case. The counsel further submitted that no materials are on record to connect the applicant with the alleged crime; hence, he is entitled to bail.
