JUDGMENT

The writ petition is filed seeking the grant of police protection to convene a General Body Meeting of the petitioners' Samithi.

2. By an interim order dated 23.01.2026, police protection was granted for the proposed General Body Meeting on 25.01.2026. It is submitted that the meeting was convened on the said date. In view of the above, nothing further survives in the writ petition.

Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. However, it is clarified that I have not considered the objections raised by the respondents on the merits of the matter and the same is left open.
