This application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 (for short, BNSS )
seeking regular bail.
2. The applicants are the accused Nos.2, 5 and 6 in Crime No.1251/2025 of Cantonment Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 103 , 115(2), 118(2), 127(2) and 296(b) read with Section 3 (5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. The prosecution case against the applicant and other accused is that a dispute arose between students studying at Thycaud Model School, Thiruvananthapuram while playing football match. It is alleged that the applicants and the other accused persons came to the spot and attacked the students present in the ground. The deceased came to the spot and asked the accused Nos.1 to 7 to go away from there. By questioning the defacto complainant, the accused No.3 allegedly assaulted the deceased by using a helmet and the accused No.1 inflicted a stab injury on the chest of the deceased. The deceased succumbed to the injuries later. Thus, the applicants committed the aforesaid offences.
