The writ petition is filed with the following prayers;

“i) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction restraining the 2nd respondent in implementing Ext.P3 decision of the 1st respondent during the pendency of the Rev.Pet (MV), 6 of 2026 , which is pending before the learned State Transport Appellate Tribunal.

ii) Grant such other reliefs which this Honorable court just and fit in the circumstance of the case.”

2. It is seen that though Revision Petition (MV) No.06 of 2026 has been filed before the State Transport Appellate Tribunal, Ernakulam, no orders have been passed in M.P No.02 of 2026, which is an application for stay and M.P No.03 of 2026, which is an application for condoning the delay in filing the Revision Petition.

3. Taking note of the fact that the said applications are pending consideration before the Tribunal, there will be a direction to the said Tribunal to pass orders on the same, either on 20.02.2026 or at any rate within two weeks thereafter. It is made clear that any action taken pending the revision before the Tribunal will be subject to further orders of the Tribunal.
