(Dated this the 13th day of February, 2026)
The father-in-law of the deceased Saranya, W/o Sreeraj, who committed suicide allegedly due to cyberbullying, filed this WP(Crl.) under Article 226 of the Constitution of India , praying for a direction to the 3rd respondent, namely the Superintendent of Police(Rural), Kottarakkara, to consider Ext.P3 representation given by him and to take appropriate action in that regard. 2. The learned Public Prosecutor submitted that the police had already filed the final report before the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Punalur, dropping further action. Since the petitioner raised the contention that the deceased committed suicide because of cyberbullying, there will be a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider and take appropriate action on Ext.P3 representation, if already received, at the earliest.
The petitioner is permitted to produce a copy of this judgment along with a copy of Ext.P3 representation to the Superintendent of Police(Rural), Kottarakkara.
Issue copy to both sides today itself.
