JUDGMENT

Petitioners seek for providing adequate police protection and deployment of sufficient police personnel in connection with the temple festival of Maheswaram Sri Sivaparvathi Temple for the period from 13.02.2026 to

15.02.2026 and also to ensure effective maintenance of law and order. 2. The learned Government Pleader, upon instructions submitted that already, respondents 2 and 3 have decided to afford adequate police protection and to deploy as many as 45 police personnel for the festival in connection with the first respondent temple during the period 13.02.2026 to 15.02.2026 and also to take effective measures to maintain law and order.

In view of the above submission which is recorded, the grievance of the petitioners stand redressed. The police will ensure that they comply with the submission recorded above.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
