JUDGMENT

The Writ Petition pertains to seizure of a lorry, alleging violation of Kerala Minerals (Prevention of Illegal Mining, Storage and Transportation) Rules , 2015. When this case is taken up for consideration today, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is prepared to compound the offence before the 2^nd respondent Geologist.

2. It will be open for the petitioner to approach the 2^nd respondent seeking compounding. Thereupon, compounding in accordance with law, will be considered and acted upon, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Petitioner will produce a copy of the judgment before the 2^nd respondent, for compliance.

This Writ Petition will stand disposed of, as above.
