JUDGMENT
The Writ Petition pertains to seizure of a lorry, alleging violation of Kerala Minerals (Prevention of Illegal Mining, Storage and Transportation) Rules , 2015. When this case is taken up for consideration today, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is prepared to compound the offence before the 2nd respondent Geologist.
2. It will be open for the petitioner to approach the 2nd respondent seeking compounding. Thereupon, compounding in accordance with law, will be considered and acted upon, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Petitioner will produce a copy of the judgment before the 2nd respondent, for compliance.
This Writ Petition will stand disposed of, as above.
