JUDGMENT

The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:

“i) issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or order directing the 2nd respondent to issue the granted regular permit to the petitioner as per Ext.P1 on the route Kuppoth - Natyamangalam in respect of stage carriage bearing number KL-10-Y-6166 on production of current records, in the interest of justice.

ii) issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or order directing the 2nd respondent, Secretary Regional Transport Authority to issue the granted regular permit to the petitioner as per Ext.P1 on the route Kuppoth - Natyamangalam in respect of stage carriage bearing number KL-10-Y-6166 on production of current records without insisting on BS-VI compliance.

iii) to issue any other appropriate writ, direction or order which this Honourable Court deem fit in the circumstances of the case.”

2. It is submitted by both sides that the issue raised in this writ petition is covered by the judgment of this Court in W.P.(C) No. 36460/2025 and connected cases dated 05.02.2026.
