JUDGMENT

The petitioner challenges Ext.P3 order passed by the State Transport Appellate Tribunal dated 22.9.2025 in MP No.2207/2025 in MVAA No.214/2022.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had only sought a temporary permit for forty days from 25.07.2024, but the Tribunal granted an order for a period of three months.

3. The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the 3rdrespondent was granted a temporary permit, which is valid till 16.02.2026. This is recorded.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the State Transport Appellate Tribunal to pass orders in MVAA No.214/2022, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment. This judgment will not prevent the parties from filing any application for interim prayers pending the appeal. The 3rd respondent is also directed to implead the KSRTC in the appeal before the Tribunal.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
