O R D E R

The Criminal Miscellaneous Case is filed to quash Annexure-1 FIR in Crime No.167 of 2022 registered by the Palghat Town North Police Station.

2. The learned Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that the Investigating Officer has already filed the final report before the Court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palakkad ('Trial Court', in short), and the case has been numbered as C.C.No.57 of 2023.

In light of the above submission, the Crl.M.C. is dismissed, but by reserving the right of the petitioner to either challenge the final report or file an application for discharge before the Trial Court, provided the charge has not been framed yet. If such an application is filed, the Trial Court is directed to consider and dispose the application, in accordance with law, untramelled by any observations made in this order.
