J U D G M E N T

Dated this the 11th day of February, 2026 The above writ petition is filed seeking the following reliefs:

i) to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or order directing the respondents to allow the petitioner to rejoin duty as Higher Secondary School Teacher in Commerce in the 1st respondent’s school forthwith.

ii) to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or order directing the respondents to disburse the arrears of salary and all other service benefits to the petitioner pursuant to Exhibit P1 order revoking the punishment awarded on the petitioner.

iii) to such other reliefs as this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.”

Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the prayers sought for in the writ petition have become infructuous. Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
