Dated this the 10th day of February, 2026 The petitioners herein who are the respondents in the M.C.No.64/2023 on the file of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvananthapuram, filed this Crl.M.C. praying for quashing all further proceedings against them. The above M.C. was filed by the respondents under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act , 2005.

2. When this matter came up for arguments today, the learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the petitioner in M.C., has already adduced evidence before the learned Magistrate and also that the case stands posted for the further evidence of the respondents in the M.C. Since, the petitioner herein has already adduced evidence before the learned Magistrate, there is no meaning in continuing the proceedings in this Crl.M.C and as such this Crl.M.C. is closed.
