WP(C) NO. 7627 OF 2018

The court affirms that unreasonable delay in challenging administrative orders limits judicial intervention.

Headnote:The writ petition contests the Additional District Magistrate's order allowing an electric line to the 4th respondent, dated 19.03.2012. Observing the delay in appealing, the court declines to intervene and upholds the earlier order. Resulting in the dismissal of the petition.

JUDGMENT

The writ petition challenges the order dated 19.03.2012, passed by the Additional District Magistrate, Thiruvananthapuram, through which an electric line was permitted to be drawn to provide supply to the 4th respondent. This order is challenged by filing this writ petition on 06.03.2018.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the board submits that the line had already been drawn pursuant to the order impugned in this writ petition.

3. Taking note of the delay in challenging the impugned order, I am not inclined to interfere with the same at this distance of time.

The writ petition is dismissed.
