JUDGMENT

The prayer in the original petition is for a direction for early disposal of appeal AS No.11/2024 pending before the II Additional District Court, Thrissur. This Court had called for a report from the Judicial Officer. The report has been received. It is stated that there are several other time limit cases pending before the court for speedy disposal on or before 30.04.2026 and the total pendency of the court is around 1700 and in such circumstances six months’ time is required for disposal of the appeal.

In view of the report, this original petition is disposed of, directing the II Additional District & Sessions Judge, Thrissur to consider and pass orders on AS No.11/2024 at the earliest, at any rate, within six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
