ORDER
This application is filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking prearrest bail.
2. The applicants are the accused Nos.8 and 13 in Crime No.978/2025 of Chandera Police Station, Kasargod District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 189 (2), 191(2), 191(3), 126(2), 115(2), 118(1) and 118(2) r/w Section 190 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita , 2023.
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on 11.12.2025 at about 5.30 pm at Mettammal Welfare Govt. U.P school ground, the applicants herein along with other accused due to political enmity and in common object, formed themselves into an unlawful assembly, wrongfully restrained and attacked the defacto complainant and his friends using deadly weapons like iron rod, soda bottle, wooden stick and stone and thereby committed the offences alleged.
4. I have heard Sri.Rahul Sasi, the learned counsel for the applicants and Sri.M.C. Ashi, the learned Public Prosecutor. Perused the case diary.
