JUDGMENT
Permission of use of loudspeaker in connection with the festival of Aravukadu Vadakkumuri Devi Temple, Arthungal has been dismissed vide Ext.P2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that one hour more than the sanctioned time is sought for, which is rejected vide Ext.P2.
2. The issue has been considered at length by this Court in W.P.(C) No.4822/2026 in the judgment dated 10.02.2026, read with, clarificatory Order dated 12.02.2026.
3. In the circumstances, the petitioner will stand directed to file necessary application at the earliest before the 1st respondent. Upon receipt of such application, the 1st respondent, in the light of the law laid down in the judgment above referred, will issue necessary permission to the petitioner permitting use of loudspeaker for an extra hour as sought for in the request for permission. All other conditions, which are liable to be imposed as per rules can be made by the 1st respondent. This direction shall be complied on or before 28.02.2026. Petitioner will produce a copy of the judgment in W.P.(C) No.4822/2026, read with, the clarificatory Order before the 1st respondent, for convenience. Petitioner will file necessary application before the 1st respondent within two days from today (20.02.2026).
This Writ Petition will stand allowed, as indicated above.
