JUDGMENT The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:-
“i) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction commanding the 3rd and 4th Respondents to consider Ext.P5 representation submitted at the Kozhikode Regional Passport Office and to issue the passport within a time frame fixed by this Honourable Court.
ii) Issue a direction to the 4th Respondent to return the original documents of the Petitioner if they are not required for further legal proceedings.
iii) This Hon’ble Court may kindly dispense with the filing of a translation of vernacular documents..
iv) Grant such other and further reliefs as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.”
2. The petitioner sought a re-issuance of a passport for which Ext.P7 representation was made. The learned DSGI on instructions submits that the petitioner has been heard and orders are awaited. This is recorded.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the 3rd respondent to pass orders on Ext.P7 representation within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
