JUDGMENT

Since this writ petition relates to the academic year 2025-

2026, the reliefs claimed for has become infructuous.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner has already preferred an application for NOC before the State Government for the academic year 2026-2027. Though the counsel for the petitioner asserted that the University be directed to consider their application for consent of affiliation for the academic year 2026-2027, I am of the view that the said issue will arise only after the Government issues orders on the application for NOC.

Petitioner's right to pursue their claim for NOC as well as for consent of affiliation for the academic year, 2026-2027, in accordance with law, will not be affected by this writ petition and those will remain open even if this writ petition has become infructuous.

In view of the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
