ORDER

This application is filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking pre-

arrest bail.

2. The applicant is the accused No.2 in Crime No.19/2026 of Palode Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 296(b), 126(2), 351, 118(1) and 118(2) read with Section 3 (5)

of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 .

3. The prosecution case, in short, is that due to previous animosity arising out of an incident wherein the defacto complainant verbally abused the father (accused No.1) of the applicant with invectives, on 20.10.2025 at around 08:00 p.m., at Seemavila Junction, the applicant along with another accused verbally abused and physically assaulted the defacto complainant. The applicant has hit the defacto complainant with a reaper wherein he sustained a knee fracture and thereby committed the offences.
