ORDER
This application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking regular bail.
2. The applicant is the accused No.17 in Crime No.428/2025 of Pandikkad Police Station, Malappuram District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 127 (3), 140(1), 61(2), 115(2), 118(1), 109, 351(3), 111, 311 and 249 read with Section 3 (5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita , 2023.
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on
12.8.2025, between 6.15 pm and 8.45 pm, the defacto complainant's husband was kidnapped by the applicant in an innova car, in connection with a financial dispute that arose between them outside India and thereby committed the offences.
4. I have heard Sri. Gibi C. George, the learned counsel for the applicant and Sri. M.C. Ashi, the learned Senior Public Prosecutor. Perused the case diary.
5. The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the applicant is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the present case.
