JUDGMENT
Petitioner challenges the refusal of the 4th respondent to issue a K-TET category III certificate, despite successfully passing the examinations of B.Tech. and B-Ed.
2. By judgment in WP(C) No.14090 of 2024, this Court had declared that the qualification of B-Tech and B-Ed Degree would be a sufficient qualification for obtaining a certificate in K-TET category III. It was also directed that the petitioners therein, who were similarly placed as the petitioner in the instant case be issued with the K-TET category III certificates, subject to the marks scored by them in the said examination.
3. The learned Government Pleader, upon instructions, submitted that the judgment mentioned above covers the present issue and that the petitioner stands on a similar footing as the petitioners therein.
In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of declaring that the petitioner is entitled to get K-TET category III certificate and the 3rd respondent is directed to issue K-TET category III certificate to the petitioner, subject to the marks scored by him in the said examination, at the earliest, at any rate, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
This writ petition is disposed of as above.
