IN THE HIGH COURT OF KERALA AT ERNAKULAM
MOHAMMED NIAS C.P., J
CHANDRASEKHARAN .V.S. – Appellant
Versus
KERALA STATE ELECTRICITY BOARD LTD. – Respondent

Advocates:
For the Appellants/Petitioners: ADV SHRI.AVM.SALAHUDIN
For the Respondents: SRI. B. PREMOD, STANDING COUNSEL, KSEB

JUDGMENT

The petitioner challenges Exts.P1 and P2 orders issued under Section 126 of the Electricity Act , 2003. The petitioner has an adequate and effective statutory remedy under Section 127 of the said Act before the Electricity Appellate Authority. Since the petitioner contends that though Ext.P2 is dated 06.12.2025, the same was received only on 18.02.2026, I am inclined to grant ten days to enable the petitioner to challenge the same in appeal.

Accordingly, the Writ petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to prefer an appeal against Exts.P1 and P2, within ten days from today. The disconnection of the premises in question will stand stayed for a period of ten days.
