2. The present tenure of the presiding officer of the Debt Recovery Tribunal – I, Ernakulam, has not expired but is likely to expire within a short time. However, having regard to the order passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Central Administrative Tribunal Bar Association Kolkata & Anr v. Union of India & Ors, dated 09.02.2026, we are not inclined to entertain this petition any further. Paragraph No.3 of the said order reads as follows:
“We request all the High Courts not to entertain petitions with respect to the constitution, continuation or composition of the Tribunals of the national/state tribunals to the extent the issues are pending consideration.”
3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
