J U D G M E N T

The prayers in this Original Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India are as follows:

"i) To call for the records and direct the Family Court, Kollam to dispose the Exhibit P5 and P6 applications pending in MC 137/22 on merit within a time fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ii) To exempt from producing the translated copies of the documents in the vernacular languages.

iii) Such other reliefs as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper."

2. The original petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of Exts.P5 and P6. On 06.02.2026, this Court directed the Registry to obtain a report from the Court concerned on the time required for the disposal of the matter.

3. A report has been obtained from the Family Court, Kollam, stating that the matter could be disposed of within a period of nine months. Therefore, the Family Court, Kollam, is directed to take up Exts.P5 and P6 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible.

The Original Petition is disposed of as above.
