This Contempt case is filed by the petitioner as against the respondents for willful disobedience of the judgment passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No.43516/2023 dated 29.05.2025, wherein this Court directed the respondents to issue PPO by granting invalid pension.
2. The learned Senior Panel Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted a copy of the PPO before this Court and stated that the order of this Court has been complied with.
3. The submission of the learned Senior Panel Counsel appearing for the respondents is placed on record.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that though a PPO has been issued, the amount has not been credited. However, the direction of this Court was to issue the PPO along with interest on arrears, etc.
5. In view of the issuance of the PPO, the petitioner is not presently interested in pursuing the matter and prays that the matter be closed, granting liberty to approach the Court if there is any improper calculation of interest or arrears.
6. The submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is placed on record.
