J U D G M E N T

Ext.P6 is a representation preferred by the petitioner seeking compensation in the below referred facts.

2. The property having an extent of 0.0008 hectares - forming part of 0.0015 hectares - of the petitioner was acquired by the State Government. Ext.P4 is the award passed. A portion of the petitioner’s shop room was also coming within the sweep of acquisition. While demolishing the said portion, the entire shop building collapsed. The petitioner sought for compensation in respect of the same vide Ext.P6.

However, no action ensued, is the short grievance.

3. Having heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, this Court directs the 1st respondent District Collector to consider Ext.P6 in accordance with law and pass orders therein, expeditiously, at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The petitioner will produce a copy of this judgment before the 1st respondent, for compliance.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
