JUDGMENT
The prayers in this Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India are as follows:-
”i. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus, order or direction or such other writ whereby directing 2nd respondent to refrain from harassing or threatening the petitioner and his family;
ii. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus, order or direction or such other writ whereby directing the 3rd respondent to conduct a preliminary enquiry into the incident dated 07.12.2025 and to ensure a fair, impartial and time-bound investigation in accordance with law;
iii. Dispense with the translation of documents produced in vernacular language.
iv. pass such other order/s as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit, in the facts and circumstances of this case, in the interests of justice.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.2 is harassing him.
3. The learned Public Prosecutor, upon instructions, submitted that the Edathala Police registered Crime No.1213 of 2025 against the son of the petitioner alleging offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2) and 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
