Dated 20th day of February 2026 JUDGMENT The limited relief sought in this Original Petition is for expeditious disposal of S.A. No.492 of 2022 pending on the files of the Debts Recovery Tribunal-II, Ernakulam. A report was called for regarding the present status of the said S.A. and the time required for its disposal.

2. As per the letter dated 18.02.2026, the Debts Recovery Tribunal-II, Ernakulam has informed this Court that it requires two months’ time from 23.02.2026 (which is the next posting date) for disposal of the said S.A.

Therefore, this Original Petition is disposed of directing the Debts Recovery Tribunal-II, Ernakulam to take up S.A. No. 492 of 2022, if service of notice and pleadings are complete, and to dispose of the same within a period of two months from 23.02.2026.
