JUDGMENT
The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:
“i. To issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ, direction or order, directing the respondents to grant regular permit to the petitioner on the route Nirmalagiri College- Panoor, by passing final orders on Exhibit P1 Application and Ext.P4 Reply submitted by the petitioner in response to the direction contained in Ext.P3, most expeditiously, at any rate within a time limit to be fixed by this Hon’ble Court in the interest of justice.
ii. To issue any other appropriate writ, direction or order which this Hon’ble Court deem fit in the circumstances of the case.
iii. To dispense with the filing of translation of vernacular documents; “
2. The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the application seeking a regular permit has been placed in the meeting scheduled on 07.03.2026 by the RTA. This is recorded.
3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the competent among the respondents to take a decision in accordance with law, at the earliest, at any rate, within one month from 07.03.2026.
