JUDGMENT
The petitioners had filed a complaint against the 5th respondent, alleging that he was projecting himself as a Cardiologist by the mere possession of a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Cardiology.
2. The learned Standing Counsel for the 4th respondent submitted that a notification has been issued by the National Medical Commission, dated 08.05.2025, recognizing the qualification for Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Cardiology issued by the Indira Gandhi Open University, during the period 2006-2013, as a valid qualification. In view of the above, the reliefs sought for by the petitioners has become infructuous.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
