IN THE HIGH COURT OF KERALA AT ERNAKULAM
C.PRATHEEP KUMAR, J
..... ..... – Appellant
Versus
STATE OF KERALA – Respondent
ORDER
Dated this the 25th day of February, 2026 The mother of the victim in Crime No.665/2022 of Mangalapuram Police Station filed this Criminal Miscellaneous Case under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure , 1973 praying for setting aside Annexure-3 order passed by the Additional Sessions Judge for the trial of cases relating to Atrocities and Sexual Violence Against Women and Children, Thiruvananthapuram granting pre-arrest bail to the accused/3rd respondent.
2. The learned Sessions Judge passed Annexure-3 order as early as on 12.08.2022. At the time of argument, the learned counsel for both sides submitted that in this case the police filed the final report and now the trial is going on in the said case.
In the above circumstances, the prayer in this Crl.M.C.
has become practically infructuous as there is no scope for cancelling the anticipatory bail granted to the 3rd respondent, at this belated stage. Therefore, this Crl.M.C stands dismissed.
