JUDGMENT

[WP(C) Nos.37928/2025, 2040/2026]

The petitioners challenge the cancellation of the permit, and also the revocation of the sanction accorded for renewal of the permit as per the decision dated 19.07.2024. The petitioners have an adequate and efficacious statutory remedy against the actions taken by the official respondents.

Without prejudice to the right of the petitioners to avail of the same, this writ petition is closed. The time spent from 13.01.2025 in W.P.(C) No. 37928/2025 and from 15.01.2026 in W.P.(C) No. 2040/2026 till this date shall be excluded for the purpose of computing the period of limitation for challenging the same. All the contentions of the petitioners are left open.
