JUDGMENT

The limited relief sought for by the petitioner as confined during the course of the arguments is that the petitioner be granted an opportunity for repayment of the entire liability due to the 2nd respondent under the One Time Settlement Scheme, now in existence.

2. The learned Standing Counsel, upon instructions submitted that as on 13.02.2026, the total liability due from the petitioner was Rs. 1,36,57,156/- and that the One Time Settlement Scheme is available till 31.03.2026, and therefore, if the petitioner makes an application, the same can be considered.

3. Having heard the counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel, I am of the view that the writ petition can be disposed of with a direction.

Accordingly, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the application if any, filed by the petitioner seeking repayment of the entire amount under the One Time Settlement Scheme, and pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
