ORDER
Dated this the 23rd day of February, 2026 The wife of the convict in S.C. No. 527 of 2020 on the file of the Additional Sessions Court for the trial of cases relating to atrocities and sexual violence towards women and children, kozhikode, has filed this petition under article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a direction to the respondents to grant emergency bail to her husband for a period of 15 days on the ground that one of their sons is suffering from mental depression.
2. According the learned counsel for the petitioner, a representation was given to the respondents and the same was rejected as per Ext.P3 order on the ground that the certificate produced was not issued by the Civil Surgeon and also that the patient was not in a critical condition.
3. The petitioner’s husband stands convicted and is undergoing imprisonment for a period of 20 years in a POCSO
