Dated this the 20th day of February, 2026 When this matter came up for arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought for permission to withdraw this Crl.M.C. with liberty to raise all contentions before the trial court. Permission granted Accordingly, this Crl.M.C. is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to the petitioner to raise all contentions before the trial court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner also submitted that the parents-in-law of the defacto complainant are aged and that the trial court may be directed to exempt them from personal appearance. In case the petitioners move an application for exemption from personal appearance before the trial court, the same shall be considered favourably.
