O R D E R Dated this the 27th day of February, 2026 The Criminal Miscellaneous Case is filed to quash Annexure A1 FIR and the final report in Crime No.288/2019 registered by the Erumapetty Police Station, Thrissur, alleging the commission of the offences punishable under Section 379 r/w Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 20 and 21 of the Kerala Protection of River Banks and Regulation of Removal of Sand Act , 2001.

2. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court, the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Wadakkancherry, by communication dated 23.02.2026 has informed this Court that, the final report has been filed in the above crime and case has been numbered as C.C. No.174/2026, and the case stands posted to 11.05.2026 for the appearance of the accused.

In light of the above communication, the Crl.M.C is dismissed, but by reserving the right of the petitioners to either challenge the final report or file an application for discharge before the Trial Court. If such an application is filed, the Trial Court is directed to consider and dispose the application in accordance with law.
