JUDGMENT
The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:-
i) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, commanding the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider Ext.P2 application for transfer of permit in respect of stage carriage bearing No. KL 38/H 6141 operating on the route Thodupuzha – Cheppukulam CSI Church by circulation of papers under Rule130 of the Kerala Motor Vehicle Rules .
ii) Grant such other reliefs which this Honorable court just and fit in the circumstance of the case.
2. The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that a report is awaited from the Sub-Regional Transport Officer and that, once the same is received, orders will be passed on the application seeking transfer of the permit. This is recorded.
Accordingly, the Writ petition is disposed of, directing the competent among the respondents to pass orders on the transfer application, in accordance with law, within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
