JUDGMENT
The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:-
i) issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or order directing the respondent Secretary, RTA, Kottayam to settle the timings in respect of the regular permit granted as per Ext.P1 proceedings of the RTA, Kottayam on the route Pala Kottaramattom BS - Chenappady, and issue the granted regular permit in respect of SC KL 05 AD 5445, within a time frame as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.
ii) to issue any other appropriate writ, direction or order which this Honourable Court deem fit in the circumstances of the case.
2. The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the question of issuance of the permit, after settlement of timing, will be considered in the next RTA meeting. This is recorded.
Accordingly, the Writ petition is disposed of, directing the competent authority to take a decision on the issuance of the permit, after settlement of timings, within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
