A writ petition seeking immediate consideration of a recent application under specific conservation law was not entertained, advising the petitioner to pursue the application directly.

Headnote:The petitioner filed a writ petition seeking direction to consider the Form-6 application under the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act, 2008, submitted on 13.02.2026, prior to filing this writ on 23.02.2026. The court determined that the writ petition was not inclined to be entertained at this stage due to timing. The petitioner was advised to file a fresh petition in case of delays in the application process. As a result, the Writ Petition is disposed of.

JUDGMENT

The above writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to consider the Form-6 application submitted by the petitioner under the provisions of the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act , 2008. The Form-6 application was submitted only on 13.02.2026, and the present writ petition has been filed on 23.02.2026.

In the above circumstances, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition at this stage. If there is any unnecessary delay in considering the Form-6 application, the petitioner is free to file a fresh writ petition.

With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Sd/-
