JUDGMENT
This writ petition is filed seeking the following reliefs:
“I. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Exhibit-P2, application (in form number 7) dated 29.01.2026 submitted by the petitioner before the first respondent under section 27 A of the Conservation of Paddy Land and Wet Land Act , 2008 for using the land for other purposes within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon’ble court;
II. To dispense with the production of the English translation of the Exhibits which are in vernacular language;
and III. Issue such other writ, order or direction as this hon’ble court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.”

2. When this Writ Petition came up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to consider Ext. P2 Form–7 application within a time frame.
3. Heard, the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.
4. After hearing both sides, I think there can be a direction to consider Ext.P2 application within a time frame.
