| 1. request for municipal compliance on road naming. (Para 1 , 2) |
JUDGMENT
The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the respondents to implement the decisions taken vide Exts.P1, P2, P4 and P5, wherein the respondent Corporation has taken a decision to name the Mini-bypass-Puthiyapalam Road as ‘Puliyarangattu Chathappan Road’. The petitioner submits that in spite of the specific decision taken by the respondent Corporation, no steps have been taken to implement the same.
2. When the matter came up for consideration on 18.01.2021, the learned Counsel appearing for the respondent Municipal Corporation submitted that a decision had already been taken by them to put up a Board with petitioner’s father’s name on it and sought some time to put up the said Board and the Court adjourned the matter by three weeks.
In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of, making the interim order dated 18.01.2021 absolute, with a further direction to the respondent Corporation to comply with the undertaking in the said interim order, if not already complied.
