JUDGMENT

The petitioners have approached this Court seeking police protection against the threat levelled by respondents 2 and 3 with regard to their life and property. While admitting the writ petition, this Court passed the following order:

“……… In the meantime, there will be a direction to the police to provide adequate protection to the life of the petitioners from respondents 4 to 6.”

2. Heard Sri.G.Ranju Mohan, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri.Sunil Nath, the learned Government Pleader. 3. The learned Government Pleader states that the writ petition may be closed in the light of the interim order already passed. No counter affidavit has also been filed on behalf of the respondents 4 to 6.

In view of the afore, this writ petition would stand disposed of, making the order dated 14.12.2023 absolute.
