JUDGMENT
By an order dated 19.12.2025, this Court had issued the following direction;
“Accordingly, the University is directed to grant conditional affiliation by increasing the intake of seats from 30 mentioned in Ext.P17 to 40 seats. The above direction is made by recording the undertaking on behalf of the petitioners that adequate facility and infrastructure for 40 students will be made available at the lab within six months. As the direction is issued based on the undertaking, its violation will result in initiation of contempt of court proceedings against the Director of the 1st respondent.”
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Senior Counsel instructed to appear on behalf of the University submitted that in view of the order directing grant of conditional affiliation, the said interim order can be made absolute.
3. Having regard to the submissions made as above, and also bearing in mind the facts narrated in the writ petition, I am satisfied that the conditional affiliation directed to be granted by this Court as per order dated 19.12.2025 can be made absolute. Ordered accordingly. Needless to mention, petitioners shall comply with conditions imposed
