JUDGMENT

Dated this the 24th day of February, 2026 The accused in C.C.No.365 of 2021 on the files of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Nilambur filed this Original Petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India praying for a speedy disposal of the above case.

2. Considering the nature of the relief claimed, a report was called for from the learned Magistrate about the time required for the disposal of the above case.

As per the report dated 09.02.2026, the learned Magistrate sought for a period of six months for its disposal. Therefore, this Original Petition (Crl.) is disposed of with a direction to the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Nilambur to dispose of C.C. No.365 of 2021 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this judgment.
